This is some very short biographies, I've done about some interresting personalities. Almost all info is sampled info from wikipedia.

John Dillinger was an american bank robber, born June 22, 1903 and died July 22, 1934, at age 31.

He topped his criminal career in the early 1930's, and was considered as a modern day Robin Hood.

Johnny Depp plays the role of John Dillinger in a new movie called "Public Enemies", also starring is Christian Bale.

John Wayne Gacy, jr. was an american serial killer, born March 17, 1942 and executed May 10, 1994 at age 52.

Gacy raped and murdered at least 33 young men and boys.

Gacy entertained the kids in the neighborhood as "Pogo the clown".

John Wayne Glover was a British-born Australien serial killer, born 26 November, 1932 and hanged himself in prison on 9 September, 2005, at age 72.

Here's a character, I played around with these last days... I want to show you the development, so here we go...

These are the first sketches, I won't say I'm proud of'em but, you gotta start with an idea...

Here' I got an idea, how he's body should be build...
And the face has got a little solid shape...

Here' he began to look like a character with something to it...

Here I tried to act with him...

Here he has become nice to draw...

construction? Hannahbarbera characters!

Hey there!
first, here's some constructions of Bugs I forgot to post in the last Bugs con blog...

Now I'm kinda talking to myself, and to those who read this, ok?

First of all, I LOVE Hannah-Barbera cartoons, and the characters... But John K said that my characters are flat, and has no construction, I'm cool with that, cause that just makes me eager to try to construct them...
But what I don't understand is, when you look at a scene from for example Yogi Bear

I see constructed characters, but in a style I would call flat... Looney Tunes characters like Bugs Bunny, Daffy and so on, aren't what I would call flat, but more constructed to the perspective of the scene... Yogi Bear cartoons/scenes, are more flat to look at, but still entertaining!
So my opinion is, that characters could be constructed flat, if the purpose is to make'em look like some sort of H-B cartoon...

I'm not saying I want to make a new H-B kinda cartoon(though I like, love, and admire them alot), but I just thought that it was a good example here...

I took some freedom on drawing 2, cause I wanted make as many lines as possible to connect in some way...
I really think it's fun to do!

Here I tried to cut it down to simple patterns, analyze the drawing down to it's bare bones...

Here's some character drawings of the couple, my cat shares the daily life with...
Allred and his wife!

Allred is some sort of human ape, his skin is red, and he looks alot like a monkey, plus he shares favourite dish with most monkeys... BANANAS!
He's obsessed by bananas, he collects bananas, he just can't get enough bananas!

His wife, wife, is so hot, that he can't show her in public, in fear of that she'll walk the path of life by someone else's side, than his...
So that's why the bag....

They have this pet, they got from his wife's granny, who past away...

The cat tries hard to be a good cat, and not to make mistakes, or trouble... Cause he knows that they really don't want the cat, and is very attracted to the thought of bringing the cat to doctor needle, who takes care of all the pets, whos day has come...

That's the rough plot... Not even close to something great, but that's the stage at this point...

Creating a character...

This is what you could call my process of finding a character...

I thought it would be fun to design a new character now when I've done all those constructions for the past few days... So here it is!

I don't know he's name yet, but it's a cat...

Since it doesn't have arms, I tried to figure out how that should be visible, so I tried with two X'es but that just made the construction unclear I think...

Also I tried to think of a way he could grab things... fx, how he should be able to shake hands, take something down from a shelf, ect.
So I settled on the idea, that he uses his tongue, for problems that hands would handle...

Here's some constructions i did today:)

I wrote some lines to help myself, analyzing the poses after drawing it...

This one with Daffy, I'm not so satisfied about, but there's something about it still I think, especially the body ended up ok, I think!

Here I drew the line of action, so me, myself, and you outthere could see it :P

This George and Jimmy pose, I NEEDED to draw again, because of the last one was not constructed well enough...
